MISSION STATEMENT
To provide assistance to those in need in our community
in an impartial and dignified manner.
We will provide emergency/supplemental food, and assistance through the North Whidbey Medical Help program, and health and welfare checkups via our tele-care program.
We will work with other human services agencies in our community to ensure that we are prepared to offer the best assistance possible and assist wherever possible in not only improving lifestyles,
but striving towards independence from the need for assistance. We shall keep the client first and foremost in all our actions, ensuring confidentiality and dignity punctuate all we do.

North Whidbey Help House receives 96.41% of our funding through public support with the remaining 3.51% coming from the WA state Department of Agriculture through the Emergency Food Assistance Program (EFAP)
Our admin costs are 6%

HERE ARE THE NUMBERS FROM THE HOLIDAYS:
We provided 458 holiday food baskets that fed 1,870 people.
We had 45 families "adopted" at Thanksgiving
We had 51 families "adopted" at Christmas
Thank you to all those who donated food, money, their time and those who adopted a family and/or families.
We could not provide the holiday meals without the help from our generous community.
